UC Berkeley Vietnamese Student Association’s 44th Culture Show and the first culture show in its history to be based in San Francisco at the Toni Rembe Theater of the American Conservatory Theater.

After the loss of her mother, Vân and her father have a strained relationship, and she struggles with her feelings for her best friend. The anxiety and stress unlock her power to raise the tides and call down storms as her sorrow becomes overwhelming. Can her loved ones bring her home? Or will she succumb to the depths of the sea like her mother?
